How To Enable Soft Keys On Your Android



Hi Guys, If you don't know what Soft Keys (which will be weird) You can take a look at the screenshot below. Soft Keys were introduced to Android with the 4.0 OS (aka Ice Cream Sandwich) Google Nexus. The Soft Keys were introduced 3 years back which did not feature any hardware button below the screen. Most current devices comes with both Hardware and Soft Keys which are disabled by default but you can enable them by following the steps below

STEPS TO FOLLOW: 

Step One: Pre- requisites

You must be rooted for this to work 
You can root your device with KingoRoot
• File Manager Like X-plore, ES File Explorer or Root Explorer
• Your device must be changed to at least 50%

Step Two: Enable Soft Keys

Open File Manager 
• Navigate to /system folder in the root folder

• Open Biuld.prop in text edior

• Type this command at the end 
     qemu.hw.mainkeys=0

• Save file
• Reboot your device 
The Soft Keys Now be enabled on your phone.
